The rules, kept short
What you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
The short version. PickleJoy is a free directory of pickleball courts, coaches, clubs and tournaments in the Philippines. Use it, enjoy it, do not abuse it. We check our listings but we do not run the venues, so confirm details before you drive across town.
What PickleJoy is
A directory and a set of guides. We gather information about places to play, people who teach, clubs to join and tournaments to enter, and we publish it free of charge.
We are not affiliated with the courts, coaches, clubs or tournament organisers we list unless a page says so explicitly.
Listings are information, not promises
Opening hours change. Rates go up. Courts close for maintenance, and tournaments move. We keep listings as accurate as we can, but we cannot guarantee that any detail is current, and we are not responsible for a wasted trip.
Ring ahead. Especially for prices and opening hours.
If you spot something wrong, tell us at hello@picklejoy.ph and we will fix it.
Accounts
Accounts are free and optional. Everything on the site is readable without one.
If you make an account:
- Give a real email address you can actually receive mail at — it is the only way to recover access if you forget your password.
- Your password is yours to look after. Do not share it, and pick something you do not use elsewhere.
- One account per person. Do not sign up as somebody else.
- Tell us at hello@picklejoy.ph if you think somebody else is in your account.
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the site or other people, and we will say why when we do.
What we ask of you
Do not use PickleJoy to break the law, harass anyone, scrape the site wholesale, or try to get into parts of it that are not yours. Do not attempt to disrupt the service for other people.
That is genuinely the whole list.
Our content
The words, photographs and design on PickleJoy belong to us unless credited otherwise. Read them, link to them, quote a bit with credit — but please do not republish them wholesale as your own.
Links to other places
Some pages link to venue websites, social media pages and booking systems that we do not run. What happens on those sites is between you and them.
The honest limits
PickleJoy is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will never be wrong and never go down. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using the site or from relying on a listing.
Nothing here removes rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
Changes
These terms will change as the site grows — there is a marketplace and tournament registration still to come, and both will need rules that do not exist yet. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
